Sports Participation By Boys Improves Behavior!

Studies show a positive introduction to sports at a young age helps set the tone for a healthy life. Sports help boys have more self-control and discipline. Through a 24-week study, of 649 children, grades 3-6, they observed those who participated in an after school sports program and those who participated in a non-sports program. Those who participated in the sports-based program showed improvements in self-control, self-observation, problem-solving skills, delayed gratification and decreased aggression. What a great start to life!

Make your New Year’s resolution to sit down with your son and plan out their year of sports. Let them choose the sports-related activity so they are excited about it, not just you. This way they can look forward to a sport all year long!
