Cardiovascular Training, is the idea of activity which strengthens the lungs (cardio) and the heart (vascular). This includes any motion where you are moving at a brisk pace which could be as intense as running or as light as walking or swimming. National guidelines suggest that a person needs 30-60 minutes of Cardiovascular Training per day with moderate activity requiring more time and intense movement demanding less time. |
